Our client is seeking a Senior Landscaper/Gardener to join their team based in Lisburn and the surrounding areas
Pay Rate: Starting at £16 Per Hour Depending on Experience
Hours Per Week: 40
Working Hours: Starting times will vary, 8 hours Per Day between 8am - 8pm
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential:
· Proven experience in garden and grounds maintenance, including domestic and commercial properties
· Skilled in pruning, hedge work at height and plant care
· Ability to take ownership of jobs from start to finish
· Experience leading or supervising small teams
· Strong work ethic; willing to work alongside the team
· Knowledge of health and safety standards in gardening/landscaping
· Reliability, punctuality and professionalism
· Ability to work in all weather conditions
Desirable:
· Level 2 horticulture or equivalent qualification
· Experience in landscaping projects (design, installation or hardscaping)
· PA1 / PA6 spraying qualification
· Experience working in small service-based teams
· Valid driving licence
Job Duties:
· Lead certain jobs/projects independently, ensuring quality and efficiency
· Carry out skilled tasks including pruning trees, trimming hedges, and general plant care
· Set standards on site for work quality, team behaviour and safety
· Work hands-on alongside other gardeners, not just supervise
· Inspect sites and identify any maintenance or safety issues
· Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
· Support the business owner by freeing up time for quoting, client management and planning
· Liaise with clients as needed to maintain excellent service standards
· Train or guide junior team members when required
