Training

Our account management team are fully trained in terms of delivering manual handling training. To further add value to our service delivery Industrial Temps would ensure that all temporary workers selected are suitably trained before commencing their assignment. We tailor candidate training depending on client need, working closely with the clients to supply/ create Induction programmes; English/ Numeracy assessments; aptitude tests; ETI Codes and any other training requirements.

On Site Temp Forums and Temporary Worker reviews:

Our Account Manager can facilitate onsite temp forums where temps on assignments have the opportunity to communicate any areas of concern, holidays requests etc. This adds value to our service for all stakeholders and further ensures communication lines are followed in line with SLA.

For our clients we facilitate temporary workers reviews which involves our account manager gathering performance information from Clients managers and supervisors to feedback to temps. This adds value in that it provides an opportunity to recognise and encourage those who are performing well and to address any issues with those who need to perform better.

Compliance

Industrial Temps have a highly efficient in-house compliance team whose input is crucial across all aspects of our business adding value to our customers in terms of ensuring our systems and procedures are compliant with relevant legislation.

Our recruitment and selection process requires candidates to provide the following: Proof of identity/address; Right to work in the UK; Proof of qualifications/licences; Medical questionnaire, relevant references in line with all statutory legislation.

As an agency supplying into the FMCG sector we are regulated by the GLAA and as such are audited in line with their licensing standards. Our customers within this sector carry out regular spot checks and ethical audits at our offices in line with SLA‘s with their customers such as M&S, Asda, Starbucks and McDonalds.

Our Compliance Department run a wide range of different daily and weekly reports focusing on all areas of recruitment. We can provide reports such as address and bank duplicate, Right to work expiry dates, Working Time Directive, Young Workers monitoring, Forklift licence expiry date, Holiday and Marketing report. In addition to this we carry out internal monthly payroll audit to make sure that we are compliant with current legislations and internal processes are followed.
