We are currently seeking Production Operatives to join our client, a leading dairy manufacturer, on a long-term temporary basis at their site in Newtownards.
The successful candidate will report to the Shift Supervisor and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of various production lines on a rotational basis.
Working hours: Rotational shift pattern from 6am – 6pm and 6pm – 6am. Must be flexible for days and nights.
Pay rate: £13.42 per hour + Overtime over 37 hours
Job Type: Temporary with potential to become permanent
Job Duties:
- Keeping production lines running.
- Calibrating machinery.
- Ensuring products are correct weight.
- Checking products for defects.
- Preparing of goods for dispatch.
- Reporting breakdowns, spillages, quality control issues.
- Forklift driving (if/when qualified).
Job Criteria:
- Flexible to work shifts.
- Previous warehouse/production experience preferred.
- Counterbalance forklift licence or willing to obtain one when in the post.
