Industrial Temps are delighted to be supporting Royal Mail in recruiting multi-drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Drivers in Newtownabbey

Working Hours: 7.45am - 3pm 5 out of 7 days
Pay rate : £13.37 Per Hour
Job Type: Full Time, Temporary Ongoing
Hours per Week: 30 -35 hours
Essential Criteria :
- Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices.
- Working outdoors in all weathers is required
Job Duties:
- You'll start your day in the local delivery office sorting and collecting post/parcels to be delivered.
- You'll be given a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries. The hand-held will also act as your routing system, telling you where to go to next.
- The role will be physically demanding, where you'll be walking at least 8 miles per day. You will also be required to carry a bag that can weigh up to 16kg, delivering letters and parcels, with parcels weighing up to 20kg.
- Driving and on foot delivery will be required, and you will be required to push/pull a trolley during deliveries.

This Postal Worker position is in Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland. You must be eligible to work in the UK to apply for this role.
