We are seeking Plant Operatives for our client, based in Belfast.
Pay Rate: £15.34 Per Hour (Overtime Rate £23.01)
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday 6am - 4pm (Optional Overtime until 5pm)
Friday 6am - 1pm (Optional Overtime until 3pm)
Saturday (Optional Overtime 6am - 10pm)
Job Type: Full Time, Ongoing
Job Duties:
- Upload/reload cylinder pallets/vehicles
- Identify and segregate cylinders for approval to scrap
- Identify and segregate cylinders for re-qualification, refurbish or powder coating
- Internally/externally inspect cylinders
- Shot blast cylinders as required
- Tare weigh, stencil, valve, gas charge and leak test cylinders before returning to customer
- Carry out quality checks throughout the production process as required
- Report any quality issues to the Chargehand or Manager
- Load cylinders for scrapping
- Housekeeping as required
- Other general duties
- Refurbish valves as required
- Drive shunt vehicle and fork lift truck as required
- Carry out all duties in accordance with the current standards and specifications
- Engineering and maintenance duties as required
Job Criteria:
- Minimum 2 years production experience is essential
