We are seeking a Quality Inspector for our client, a global manufacturing company, based in Newtownabbey.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, measuring and control of moulding and assembly production processes during shift to compliance standards.
Salary: £29,970.00 per annum
Job Type: Full-time
Working hours: Day shift and Night shift available
Job duties:
- Inspection of production to ensure suitability for customer requirements.
- Assessment of moulded components/materials to ensure conformance to approved procedures.
- Hands-on repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
- To assist with trials of new materials / products / processes / customer samples.
- To maintain adequate quality records.
- To ensure manufacturing processes comply with QMS.
- Responsibility for housekeeping within laboratory environment.
- Any other duties assigned by your supervisor in order to achieve the relevant daily production / quality targets.
Job criteria:
Essential:
- 1 year’s Quality experience within the last 3 years.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision, with a logical approach to problem solving and decision making.
- Ability to work shift patterns, (currently continental pattern), with a flexible attitude to reasonable overtime.
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of various elements of ISO 9001/2015
- Familiarity with measuring devices
