We are seeking a Project Co-ordinator for our client based in Cookstown.

The Project Coordinator will work directly with individual victims and survivors and their families in a pro-active and innovative way to facilitate engagement with services and activities within the statutory, community and voluntary sector in keeping with their needs.

Hours Per Week: 26

Working Hours: Between Monday and Friday 9am – 4pm

Pay Rate: £16.37 Per Hour

Job Criteria:

Essential:

- Possess a Third level qualification/degree/diploma or equivalent in a relevant area.

- A minimum of 2 years’ voluntary/paid experience equivalent to 16 hours per week in project management experience to include planning, preparing and delivering a project.

- Experience of managing volunteers

- Experience of funding and grant applications

- A proven track record of initiating, developing and sustaining programmes.

- Experience of monitoring, evaluation, end of year reporting and budgeting cycles.

- Experience of Financial Management within the community sector

- Experience of procurement, managing budgets and of operating accounting and other administration systems

- An excellent working experience of Microsoft Office (Word/excel/teams/zoom/power point)

- To be able to work within a team but also have the ability to have autonomy.

- Punctuality, accuracy and competency are essential.

Desirable:

- 3 years’ voluntary/paid experience equivalent to 16 hours per week, working in community development sectors.

- Knowledge of the role of victims and survivors groups. Job Duties: - Oversee the delivery of programmes.

- Undertake and oversee all management duties and day to day operations.

- Project management and implementation

- Report to funding agencies and Board of Management

- To source funding

- Preparation of funding

- Work alongside management committee with regard to strategic planning, financial management and ongoing development of organisation

- Management of business premises

- Application of strategic plan in operational context

- Responsible for all policies and procedures

- Liaison and engagement with all relevant bodies

- Ensure project is operating within financial budgets and restrictions set by funder.

- Maintaining financial systems and completing quarterly returns

- Responsible for long term and short term budgetary planning

- Represent organisation at all relevant meetings across all sectors.
