On behalf of our Client, we are seeking Mail Sorters for over the busy Christmas period.
You’ll be part of a big team of helpers! With lots of different shifts and times available so you can find the right shift for you!
Pay Rates:
Early shift: £15.50 per hour
Late Shift: £16.92 per hour
Night Shift:£18.18 per hour
Working hours:
Early shift: Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm
Late Shift: Monday to Friday 3pm to 10pm
Night Shift: Monday to Friday 11pm - 7am
Must be flexible to work weekends and overtime
We also now have Saturday and Sunday shifts only
Saturday 9am – 9pm and Sunday 8am – 6pm
Job Type: Temporary for Christmas period
Job Criteria:
- Ability to push trolleys (up to 250kgs) and lift and move mail bags (up to 11kg)
- Previous warehouse experience desirable
- Must be over 18 for night shifts
Duties:
- Sorting incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and parcels with precision
- Unloading mail and parcels from delivery vans efficiently
- Moving items around our warehouse environment to ensure smooth operations
- Maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency at all times
- Working collaboratively to meet tight deadlines in a bustling atmosphere
- Handling trolleys and lifting heavy bags to keep our postal services running smoothly
- Keeping your workspace tidy and organized to enhance productivity
- Contributing positively as a key team member and supporting colleagues
- Undertaking any other duties as needed to support our operations
