We are seeking Machine Operators for our client, Sensata, a leading provider of advanced sensor solutions, based in Antrim.
The Machine Operator will carry out a variety of machine operations in order to meet the production schedule requirements, to the high quality standard expected by Sensata Electronics Limited.
Pay Rate: £15.22 Per Hour increasing to £15.88 after 6 months
Working Hours: Continental Shifts
Job Type: Full Time, Temporary
Job Duties:
- Responsible for the efficient set-up, shutdown, running and maintenance of all automated production equipment that you are required to operate by following operating procedures and works instructions.
- To deal with line stoppage problems quickly and efficiently, seeking advice where necessary.
- To input production data into I.T. (Information Technology) systems and to follow SPC (Statistical Process Control) procedures.
- Ensure that the work area is clean, tidy and presentable to visitors/customers by completing housekeeping activities.
- Ensure that the highest level of service is provided for both internal and external customer requirements.
- Use own initiative within the team ensuring all production targets are met.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in the work area ensuring targets are met.
Job Criteria:
- Previous machine operative experience is essential
- Commitment to meeting high-quality standards in all production tasks.
- Willingness to work continental shifts and adapt to changing production demands.
- Ability to set up, operate, maintain, and shut down automated production equipment safely and efficiently.
