Our Client is seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator to join their dynamic team based in Craigavon.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of various machinery within the manufacturing facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring production efficiency, quality control, and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in operating and servicing machines.
Pay Rate: Depending on Experience
Hours Per Week: 40 Hours
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 7:15am - 5:15am
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Job Criteria:
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role within a manufacturing/processing setting.
- Ability to operate industrial equipment effectively.
- Proficient in using hand tools for assembly and maintenance tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting machinery issues.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Duties:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the environment.
- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Conduct regular maintenance on machines to prevent downtime and ensure safety compliance.
- Utilise hand tools and equipment for assembly tasks and repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and resolve operational issues.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, and any incidents that occur during shift.
- Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
- Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety protocols.
