We are currently seeking a Hygiene Operative(night shift) on behalf of our client, a gluten-free bakery based in Crossmaglen. The bakery supplies the majority of its products to the United States and Australia.
Pay Rate: £14.86- £16.62 Depending on Experience
Hours Per Week:
Week 1: 47 Hours Per Week
Week 2: 35.25 Hours Per Week
Working Hours:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday
Job Type: Permanent subject to probationary period
Job Criteria:
•Previous experience in hygiene.
•Knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
•Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
•Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
•Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties:
•Contribute to the maintenance of food safety standards by collaborating with colleagues and adhering to hygiene protocols and best practices.
•Maintaining personal hygiene standards in accordance with company policy, wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided. This includes appropriate safety PPE during chemical handling.
•Completing cleaning tasks according to schedules and procedures as set out by your manager, including daily, weekly, and deep-cleaning routines, to ensure thorough sanitisation and prevention of contamination.
•Managing waste responsibly by correctly disposing of food waste and packaging materials, while keeping designated waste areas clean and tidy.
