Industrial Temps are proud to be working in partnership with Royal Mail, the UK's designated Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers based at their busy Newtownabbey Distribution Centre.
As an HGV 2 Driver, you'll play a key role in the Royal Mail network by trunking parcels and mail between depots nationwide.
With minimal manual handling and shifts allocated a week in advance, this is a role that offers both stability and flexibility.
Pay Rate: £18.72 - £21.63
Hours Of Work : 05:00/11:00/15:30/18:00/21:00/23:00 (roughly) and most are 10+ hours - flexible to work days / Backshift or Night shift, we can work around you

What you'll be doing
Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles within the Royal Mail fleet Trunking parcels and mail between depots (no multi-drop)
Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism at all times Ensuring compliance with WTD and drivers' hours regulations
Carrying out necessary vehicle checks and completing digital tacho entries
Essential Criteria:
A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, held for at least 2 years Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card Maximum of 5 penalty points (no DD/DR/IN/CD/TT endorsements)
Good geographical knowledge and strong professional standards
Ability to carry out manual entries on a digital tachograph card Willingness to complete a DBS security check Successful completion of a site assessment and induction before first shift
