Our client, authorised fabricators of the Metal Technology and APS suit of profiles are seeking a Glazier/Window Fitter to join their team, based in Belfast.
Pay Rate: Depending on experience
Hours Per Week: 45
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm
Job Type: Temporary (2 weeks)
Job Duties:
- Preparing and transporting materials and tools to the job site.
- Using hand and power tools to modify or prepare surfaces and frames for installation.
- Accurately using cutting tools to fit glass and frames according to specifications.
- Applying knowledge of building codes related to window installation to ensure compliance.
- Implementing problem-solving skills to overcome installation challenges unique to each site.
- Maintaining a clean work environment and ensuring all tools and materials are stored safely.
- Conducting final inspections post-installation to guarantee the quality of work.
Job Criteria:
- Proven experience as a Window Fitter or Glazier
- Valid CSR Card
- Familiarity with various types of windows and installation methods.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in diverse weather conditions.
- Communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work well with your hands.
