We are seeking a Despatch Operative/ Admin Clerk for our client Diageo Belfast.

Working Hours: Monday and Tuesday 8am - 4.55pm, Friday 8am - 4pm and Flexible hours on Saturday and Sunday (start time can be anything from 3am).
Job Duties:
- Despatches goods to the Domestic ( NI, ROI and GB ) and Export markets – as and when required. Flexible approach to suit operations in terms of hours of work and including weekend cover as required. CoLoS system operation and support.
- Finished Goods Stock Administration – Daily physical stocks, recording and notification for adjustments required. Weekly stock reports preparation and communication. Monthly physical stock counts.
- Warehousing capacity – requirements vs capacity. Daily reporting and communication of data to the appropriate persons. Escalating where appropriate.
- Health and Safety – support in the administration of Task Based Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures and other H&S administration.
- Customs and Excise – support in all aspects of the administration of HMRC paperwork, compliance, and procedures.
- Materials and Inbound goods – support in the administration of booking on inbound goods.
- Support to the team by providing holiday cover to the despatch team.
- Daily Operational Reviews – support in the running, administration and recording of the meeting and its outcomes.
- A flexible approach and the ability to take on other tasks where the opportunity arises
Job Criteria:
Essential
- Good IT / keyboard skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft products e.g. Excel, Word , Outlook
- Clear communicator and able to advise and give instructions to others
- Attention to detail in all aspects of their role
- Regular Weekend work and early morning will be required
Desirable
- Working knowledge of SAP system (training will be given)
