Our client a UK-based engineering and manufacturing company is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join their team based in Crumlin.
Salary: Staring at 30k - Depending On Experience
Hours Per Week: 38
Working Hours:
Monday 7:30 am – 5 pm
Tuesday 7:30 am –5 pm
Wednesday 7:30 am –5 pm
Thursday 7:30 am - 5 pm
Friday 7:30 am –5 pm
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Job Criteria:
· Experience commissioning, installing or maintaining industrial machinery
· Strong mechanical aptitude (conveyor experience highly beneficial)
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
· Confident fault-finding and problem-solving ability
· Comfortable working independently on customer sites
· Strong communication skills and professional manner
· High level of health and safety awareness
· Willingness to travel when required (5/6 weeks per year max)
Job Duties:
· Travel to customer sites to install and commission conveyor systems (5/6 weeks per year max)
· Carry out mechanical and basic electrical commissioning
· Fault-find and resolve issues during installation and start-up
· Test systems to ensure safe and correct operation
· Work from engineering drawings, schematics and commissioning documentation
· Liaise professionally with customers, contractors and site teams
· Provide feedback to internal design and production teams
· Complete commissioning reports and handover documentation
· Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards
