We are seeking CNC Brake Press Operators, to set up and operate Press Brakes and efficiently process metal components to required quality standards, with our client Wrightbus in Galgorm.

Pay Rate: £13.86 per hour + Holiday pay (Trainee rate: £11.84 per hour)

Job Type: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7am - 5pm

Job Criteria:

Essential

- Good educational background with numeric and literacy skills

- Experience of setting up and running a CNC controlled Hydraulic Brake Press Machine

- Working knowledge of bending allowances and must be able to read engineering drawings

- Must be able to use and read an angle protractor and Vernier

- Good interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a team

- Determined individual

- Flexible and adaptable

- Able and willing to work overtime when required.

Desirable

- Experience in offline programming

- Understanding and working knowledge of 5 axis machines

Job Duties:

- Responsible for Identifying tool sizes and types to form required folds.

- Responsible for the proper handling of product and tooling at all times.

- Responsible for producing quality components and on time.

- Responsible for clocking and recording jobs and quantities produced.

- Responsible for carrying out the operator maintenance requirements for the machine and the

tooling.

- Responsible for highlighting any faults or damage to the machine; guarding and its tooling.

- Report any quality issues.

- Ensure all workstation hand tools are repositioned by the end of your shift

- Carry out all duties in a safe manner.

- Ensuring reject system is adhered to; making sure parts are transferred to the appropriate area for

Evaluation and tagged with fault rejection ticket.

- General Housekeeping in designated areas

- Accurate paperwork completion.

- Adhere to Health and Safety requirements and wear PPE.

- Contribute to achieving departmental goals and objectives.

- Undertake any other duties conducive with the effective operation of the post.

- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
