We require an Administrative Assistant for our client, a global technology business headquartered in Lisburn.
The role will cover administration duties within the R&D team, tracking spending across various projects, helping to administer the timesheet application and ERP system, as well as coordinating applications for R&D tax credits and other external funding opportunities.
Pay Rate: £14.35 Per Hour + Holiday Pay
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm
Job Type: Full Time. Temporary
Job Duties:
- Tracking actual spend of the R&D team on all development projects
- Creating reports to assist with the submission of R&D tax credit claims
- Coordinating tax credit applications along with applications for other external funding, e.g., Invest NI applications
- Management and support of ERP systems for the R&D team
- Supporting arrangements and logistics for visitors to the R&D site
- Support for cost saving measures within the management and operations of the R&D team
- Supporting continuous improvement within R&D team processes
- Assisting with other project activities as required
Job Criteria:
Essential:
- At least 2 years’ experience in an administration role, ideally in a product development or R&D office
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to merge and analyse data from multiple sources to summarise, extract insights and share
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic Access NI criminal record check certificate
Desirable:
- Experience with submission process for R&D tax credits with HMRC
- Experience with Invest NI applications
- Experience with SAP project management module
- Experience working in a product development environment
