Our Client are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join their finance team based in Portadown.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Financial Controller in day-to-day accounting duties. This is a flexible role offering both full-time and part-time options, with the possibility of occasional Saturday mornings.
Pay Rate: Depending on Experience
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Job Type: Full Time & Part Time Positions Available - Temporary to Permanent
Job Duties:
- Assisting with the sales ledger function including preparation and issuing of sales Invoicing, posting of receipts from cheque, credit transfer etc (multi-currency).
- Credit Control when applicable.
- Assisting with the purchase ledger function including approval of purchase invoices throughout the process (multi-currency).
- Credit Card & Fuel Expenses Analysis.
- Financial analysis support in transaction of general ledger journals.
- System support administration.
- Supporting in maintaining factory administration.
- Dealing with finance queries and ad hoc duties.
- Other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Financial Controller.
Job Criteria:
Essential:
- Minimum 12 months accounts experience.
- Good organisational ability and excellent communication.
- IT Proficient.
- Experience with cloud-based accounts packages.
- Experience of Sage accounts systems would be beneficial.
- High level attention to detail and accuracy while working to deadlines.
Desirable:
- Book-keeping AAT
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
