Our client Moores Concrete in Broughshane are currently recruiting for Yard operative to join their growing Production team.
The purpose of the role is to operate within the company’s precast yard, carrying out all necessary tasks such as operating a forklift to remove the finished products from factories, stacking products neatly in the yard areas as per the planned layout, providing customer service to customers and loading their vehicle/trailer with purchased products, loading lorries with products for larger orders and general housekeeping duties. The successful candidate will be part of a wider yard, transport, and installation team.
As part of their growing team, you will be contributing to the construction Industry and also award-winning projects across the UK and Ireland
Pay Rate: £14.50 Per Hour
Hours Per Week: 32 - 48
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00am – 17:00pm
Flexibility to work overtime and/or Saturdays as necessary is essential.
Job Type: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent
Job Criteria:
•Valid Counterbalance forklift licence.
•Previous experience within a manufacturing, construction, or agricultural industry. (or) experience within a relevant role to the position.
•Understanding of Health & Safety at work.
•Flexibility in working hours and strong adaptability skills.
•Good communication and teamwork experience.
•Good customer service skills.
•Willing to clean and maintain work area.
•An understanding of both written and spoken English.
Desirable Criteria:
•Previous work experience in related projects
•CSR / First Aid / Fire Warden Training
