Our client is seeking a leading Packaging company is seeking a Warehouse Operative (With Forklift Duties) to join their team based in Belfast.
A valid counterbalance forklift licence is essential for this role.
Pay Rate: £14.10-£14.69 depending on shift pattern
Hours Per Week: 36-37.5 depending on shift pattern
Working Hours:
Week 1: Monday to Thursday, 7am to 7pm
Week 2: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 7am to 7pm
Or
Week 1: Monday to Thursday, 6am to 2pm Friday, 6am to 11.30am
Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 2pm to 10pm Friday, 11.30am to 5pm
Likely to start 6-2/2-10 then move to the continental
Job Type: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent
Key Responsibities:
• Performing other duties deemed necessary by the Warehouse Manager to ensure the efficient operation of the department
• Counterbalance Fork Lift training and certification
• Previous relative experience working in a similar role within a busy warehouse
• A methodical approach to work
• The ability to work on own initiative
• Clerical accuracy
• Good standard of IT skills
Skills & Experience:
• Off loading, receipt, storage and stock control of raw materials
• Order assembly and preparation of goods for despatch
• Loading collection vehicles for delivery
• Data input of stock records and production of computer generated reports
• Waste segregation and waste control duties
