Our client is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis, based in Antrim.

The Group Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of the primary warehouse site, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations across warehousing and administration functions. In addition, the role provides oversight and support to administrative activities across other company warehouse locations and offers operational cover for Warehouse Managers during periods of absence.

Salary: Approximately £45K per annum

Hours Per Week: 40

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

Job Criteria:

Essential

· Proven experience in warehouse management, ideally within a multi-site or group role.

· Strong leadership and people management skills.

· Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and operational reporting.

· Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.

· Strong understanding of health & safety regulations within a warehouse environment.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across different locations.

· Flexible and willing to travel as required.

Desirable:

· Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations Management qualification.

· IOSH / NEBOSH or equivalent health & safety certification.

Job Duties:

1. Site Warehouse Operations Management

· Oversee the daily running of the main warehouse, ensuring operational efficiency, accuracy, and productivity targets are achieved.

· Manage goods in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch operations.

· Ensure stock integrity through robust inventory control and regular cycle counts.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise space utilisation, workflows, and labour efficiency.

· Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation within the warehouse.

2. Team Leadership & Development

· Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse and administrative teams.

· Conduct performance reviews, set KPIs, and manage employee performance.

· Ensure appropriate staffing levels, including recruitment, onboarding, and training.

· Promote a positive health & safety culture across all teams.

3. Health, Safety & Compliance

· Ensure full compliance with all health & safety regulations and company policies.

· Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and safety briefings.

· Maintain compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.

4. Administration Oversight (Group Level)

· Oversee warehouse administration functions across multiple sites, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

· Standardise processes for documentation, reporting, and system usage (e.g., WMS, transport systems).

· Monitor and support stock control, reporting, and invoicing processes across all warehouses.

· Work closely with finance and customer service teams to ensure smooth information flow.

5. Multi-Site Support & Cover

· Provide operational support and guidance to Warehouse Managers across other company sites.

· Act as a point of escalation for operational and administrative issues.

· Cover Warehouse Manager responsibilities during periods of absence, including travel to other sites where required.

· Ensure continuity of service and operational standards across all locations.

6. Performance Management & Reporting

· Track and report on key operational KPIs (e.g., productivity, accuracy, turnaround times).

· Analyse data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.

· Prepare regular reports for senior management.

7. Stakeholder Management

· Liaise with internal departments (transport, customer service, finance) to ensure seamless operations.

· Build strong working relationships across all warehouse locations.

· Support customer requirements and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
