We are looking for a Transport Front Line Manager with proven management experience within the FMCG sector, preferably within the Food sector based in Belfast. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of drivers and transport coordinators to ensure the safe delivery and/or collection of all goods to/from our customers and in accordance with all legal and company requirements
Pay Rate: Depending on experience
Working Hours: 12-hour shifts, 4 days on / 4 days off, including weekends
Start Times: 4:00am or 4:00pm starts, with some flexibility required
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Job Criteria:
- 5 years’ experience managing teams within a transport, logistics, distribution, or operational environment
- Strong knowledge of transport compliance and health & safety requirements
- Ability to build good working relationships with employees, customers and suppliers
- Good leadership skills with a confident, open and honest style of communicating
- A strong customer focus, always willing to go the extra mile to deliver a good service
- An analytical thinker, capable of making effective decisions in a fast paced environment
- Self motivated with passion, enthusiasm, tenacity and resilience
- Lead by example with the "Safety First" message
Desirable Criteria:
- CPC qualification or knowledge of Operator Licence requirements
- Experience working within a manufacturing, FMCG, or distribution environment
