Our client is seeking a Stores Operative with FLT licence to join their team based inNewtownards.
Pay Rate: £16.95 per hour
Job Type: Full Time, Temporary
Hours Per Week: 37
Working Hours: Shift start time 10:00pm & Finish time 8:00am
Job Criteria:
Duties will include Storage of raw materials efficiently;
Ensuring sufficient stocks and packaging are delivered to appropriate production area, transfer of finished goods to dispatch area, assisting with stock takes, performing racking inspections, general housekeeping and any goods inwards processes that may occur within the shift.
Job Overview: Duties will include Following standard operating procedures required within the factory and completing work tasks as instructed by the Production Team Leader/ Production Manager; Working in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner to assist achieving set daily production KPI targets; Operating packing lines on your own or as part of a team working to a busy production schedule; Completing works orders, ensuring all required quality forms and checks are carried out; General housekeeping of factory area; Assisting with waste control; Other duties may include making up sample kits or assisting Production Operatives to make product.
Essential criteria:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Health & Safety awareness within a factory environment.
- IT literate. Ability to operate computerised stock control system.
- Previous food production experience in a factory environment
- Awareness of food hygiene requirements.
- Good level of fitness with the ability to manually lift product of varying weights
- Forklift licence.
Desirable criteria:
- Experience of working with food
- Qualification or Training in food hygiene
- Qualification in or training in Manual handling
