We are currently recruiting for a Security officer on behalf of our client, Cranswick, based in Cullybackey.
Pay Rate: £13.20 - £13.60 per hour
Job description:
We require a Security Officer for our client, one of the UK's leading food producer and supplier of premium, fresh and added-value food products, based in Cullybackey.

Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour - day shift
£13.60 Per Hour - night shift
Working Hours: Rotational shifts - 4 on 4 off - dayshift and night shift
Dayshift - 8am - 8pm
Night shift - 8pm - 8am
Hours Per Week: 40
Job Type: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent
Job Duties:
- Control all access to the site
- Accurately complete vehicle check in/out sheets
- Ensure all visitors read, understand and comply with the visitor’s policy
- Ask visitors to produce photographic identification or seek confirmation from the visitor’s host
- Ensure all visitors accurately complete the medical questionnaire where necessary
- Issue visitors with a visitor pass and a visitor’s high visibility vest
- Ensure all passes and high visibility vests are returned to security hut before visitors leave the site
- Carry out random stop and search procedure as and when required
- Be familiar with the incident management plan, burglar and lockdown plan
- Carry out perimeter checks and any other additional tasks
Job Criteria:
Essential
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a security role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Computer literate
- The ability to remain professional in potentially high pressured and difficult situations
- Strong Influencing skills
- A sound understanding of security principles
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
