We are currently seeking an experienced Seamstress / Tailor to join our client’s team in Ballymena. This is a permanent position from day one, offering a stable and supportive working environment. This is a hands-on, skilled role that combines technical sewing expertise with customer interaction and a strong attention to detail. Hours of work: Monday - Saturday 9am - 3pm (Flexibility available with start and finish times)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent from day 1
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in dressmaking and/or tailoring
- Confident using industrial sewing machinery
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job duties:
- Carry out high-quality alterations and repairs (hemming, zip replacements, resizing, etc.)
- Undertake dressmaking and tailoring work to a professional standard
- Confidently operate industrial sewing machinery
- Measure, fit, and advise customers on garment alterations
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and to deadline Maintain a clean and organised workspace
