Our client Coca Cola is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to join their team based in Lisburn
Pay Rate: £14.95 - £17.94 Per Hour
Working Hours:
Shift duration is 12.5 hours
Candidate must be able to work both Days and Nights
Job Type: Full Time, Temporary for 6 months
Hours Per Week: 40
Job Criteria:
- 4 GCSEs including Mathematics and English which must be at grade C or above, or equivalent, or 5 years industrial experience
- Previous experience of Quality risk analysis/management
- At least 6 months experience working in a Micro lab within a food/ drinks production environment
Job Duties:
- Timely completion of laboratory checks ensuring compliance to the Quality Plan and to Coca Cola standards
- To Set up and participate in sensory panels as per quality plan
- To effectively manage non-conforming product – including detention, root cause analysis, corrective action planning and timely release, with effective communication to Production & Quality/Food Safety Leads
- To investigate Consumer/Customer Complaints in a timely manner, engaging with cross functional team, identifying root causes and potential trends, with corrective action plans to drive improvement
- To effectively communicate line/area performance driving right first-time culture
- To complete metrology checks in-line with plant calibration programme
- Active involvement in company programmes
- To support line trials and validations
- To contribute to the development of the Coca Cola Quality System.
- To conduct, Foods Safety & Health & Safety audits as per schedule
- To complete other tasks as per business requirements
