Our client, Oakfield Cabinets, is seeking a Temporary to Permanent Production Operative to join their growing team based in Antrim.

Pay Rate: £12.71 up to £13.41 per hour
Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week
Job Type: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm
Overtime: Available at times
Job Criteria:
- Eligibility to work in Northern Ireland.
- Ability to commute reliably to and from the factory for a 6:00am start.
- Ability to undertake heavy lifting, which is an integral part of the role.
- Reliable attendance and good timekeeping.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Forklift licence, although this is not essential.
Job Duties:
- Assisting with loading vans with kitchen and bedroom units, marking off delivery dockets accordingly & noting any discrepancies as required.
- Assisting with unloading deliveries, checking deliveries, and reporting any discrepancies as required.
- Machining and assembly of components for kitchen and bedroom units.
- Operating various pieces of equipment following appropriate training.
- Carrying out other ad-hoc duties requested by the supervisor that fall within the scope of the role.
- Complying with Company policies and procedures regarding PPE and Health & Safety.
- Complying with Company procedures regarding attendance, sickness reporting, and other relevant employment processes.
