Our client, Terumo is seeking a Hygiene Technician to join their team based in Larne
Carry out daily cleaning as directed to the highest standards, under the direction of the Production Manager or his/her deputy
Pay Rate: £15.98 Per Hour
Hours Per Week: 40
Job Type: Full Time, Temporary Ongoing
Working Hours: 4.30pm-1am or 5.30pm-2am, however for the first 2 weeks the candidate will be required to work 12pm-8.30pm whilst in training
Job Duties:
- Clean specific areas of the site to the required high standards
- Perform duties following written instructions in the form of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and verbal instructions from the Production Manager or Senior Cleaning Operator or other relevant manager
- Adhere to the principles of GMP when carrying out all tasks
- Complying with Health & Safety and Hygiene Procedures in all work areas
- Report all accidents or any unsafe conditions in the workplace to Management and also maintain in a good state of repair all protective clothing and equipment
- Comply with and enforce all relevant Health and Safety regulations
- Assist in the training of staff where appropriate
- Comply with and enforce all company policies
- Any other duties as may be reasonably required by your Manager from time to time
Essential:
- Physically fit to carry out job and able to attend work on a regular basis
- Previous cleaning experience preferably gained within an industrial environment (e.g. using buffers etc)
- Able to work overtime and shifts
