Industrial Temps are recruiting on behalf of their client based in Antrim for reliable and motivated Factory Operatives to join their modern printing and production facility.
This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone who is hands-on, reliable and keen to learn. You’ll work across bindery, finishing, despatch, warehouse and quality control, helping to keep the factory floor safe, tidy and running efficiently. No previous printing or factory experience required – full training provided!
Pay Rate: £12.71 Per Hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria:

Key Duties:
• Assist with stock management and organise factory floor racks
• Manage spare pallets and help keep the factory floor tidy
• Complete daily floor checks and remove waste
• Check pallet trucks and electric trucks for visible faults and report any issues
• Prepare materials for upcoming jobs, including covers, sections, pallets, boxes and labels
• Line up materials for folders, stitchers, binders, guillotines and laminators
• Safely move completed work between production areas
• Make and label boxes for binder and stitcher operations
• Wrap and strap finished pallets ready for despatch
• Liase with the Despatch team regarding completed jobs and shipments
• Assist machine operators and support other departments when required
• Turn pallets for folding operations
• Support binder machine assistants and cover stations during breaks
• Following training and authorisation, assist with operating folding and stitcher machines during scheduled breaks
