Our Client, a global manufacturer of heavy machinery and equipment for construction, mining, energy and transportation industries are seeking Electricians to join their growing team, based in Larne.
This role involves installing, maintaining, testing and repairing electrical systems and equipment in line with industry standards and safety regulations. Read and interpreted electrical drawings and specifications.
Pay Rate: £17.95 - £35.90 per hour
Hours Per Week: 37.5
Working Hours:
Times are as below:
Days/times
Monday 7.30am – 5.45pm,
Tuesday to Thursday 7.30am – 5.15pm
If required - Nightshift 37.5 hrs p/w – Monday 9.00pm – 7.15am, Tuesday to Thursday 9.00pm – 6.45am
Job Type: Full Time, Temporary
Job Criteria:
- Experience as an Electrician (Formal Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent relevant qualification)
- Previous electrical experience (wiring, installation, terminations, connecting panels, upfitting cable trays/ladder racks, conduit upfitting, crimping)
- Experience in a lean manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience working to defined process times.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work from heights and in an enclosed work area.
- A keen awareness and commitment to the highest standard of health and safety and quality.
- A reasonable level of computer literacy would be an advantage but not essential.
- Ability to work reasonable amounts of overtime and various shift patterns.
