Pay Rate: £9.50 - £12 per hour + Holiday pay

(Depending on Experience)

Hours per week: 38

Working hours: Monday - Friday, Times TBC

Job Criteria:


  • Equivalent of 5 GCSE's including GCSE English and Mathematics
  • Experience in all aspects of inspection methods within the manufacturing sector
  • Minimum of 2 years training within the industry
  • Methodical manner and the ability to pay attention to detail
  • Good analytical skills
  • Proficient IT Skills to include Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook.
  • High level of numeracy and literacy skills


  • Experience in the aerospace industry
  • A working knowledge of quality related EFACS modules

Job Duties:

  • Support product quality through the process
  • Liaison with Production team on results to ensure the quality of the product and timely completion
  • Ensuring the product meets all customer specified standards
  • Support the calibration of metrology equipment and control of this equipment throughout the business
  • Support company quality awareness, improvement strategy and training plan
  • Use of CMM machines to support product inspection
  • Work in a safe manner in compliance with company Health & Safety policy. Report and log Health & Safety incidents that occur
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the work areas
  • Actively support department 6S initiatives
