We are seeking a Plant Operator for our client based in East Belfast.
Hours per week: 40, overtime paid after 37 hours
Pay Rate: £14.61 per hour
Job Type: Full time, on-going position start ASAP
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4pm (finish time can be up to 6pm when busy)
Saturday when required, 4-6 hour shift starting 6am/7am/8am
Job Duties:
- Upload/reload cylinder pallets/vehicles
- Identify and segregate cylinders for approval to scrap
- Identify and segregate cylinders for re-qualification, refurbish or powder coating
- Internally/externally inspect cylinders
- Shot blast cylinders as required
- Tare weigh, stencil, valve, gas charge and leak test cylinders before returning to customer
- Carry out quality checks throughout the production process as required
- Report any quality issues to the Manager
- Load cylinders for scrapping
- Housekeeping as required
- Other general duties
- Refurbish valves as required
- Carry out all duties in accordance with the current standards and specifications
Job Criteria:
- Previous experience in production/ Manufacturing environment
- Experience in Warehouse, production and Labouring
- Must be physically fit as involves heavy lifting
